Sustainability Statement
At S&P Energy Assessors, sustainability is the driving force of what we do. As Domestic Energy Assessors, we are committed to supporting households, landlords, and property professionals in improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of buildings. 17% of the UK's CO2 emissions come from the domestic energy and therefore homes must be highly energy efficient to achieve net zero by 2050.Â
We believe that sustainable homes are key to a healthier planet and a better future. Through our work, we aim to empower clients with the information and guidance they need to make informed, energy-conscious decisions.
Our commitment includes:
Promoting Energy Efficiency: By delivering accurate and reliable Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and advice, we help reduce carbon emissions and encourage sustainable improvements in homes across the UK.
Supporting Net Zero Goals: We align our work with national and local carbon reduction targets, helping property owners understand the steps needed to move towards net-zero homes.
Minimising Our Operational Impact: We actively reduce our own environmental footprint through digital reporting, fuel-efficient travel by cycling where possible, and minimising paper use wherever possible.
Ongoing Learning and Improvement: We stay informed on evolving sustainability standards, technologies, and best practices, ensuring that our assessments and recommendations reflect the latest guidance in sustainable housing.
Sustainability is more than a service we provide it's a responsibility we embrace. Through our assessments, we strive to make meaningful contributions to more energy-efficient homes for a sustainable future.
